The Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort will host the first Mother Ocean Music Festspiel on vierter Monat des Jahres 20 to honor Earth Day and raise funds for ocean cleanup programs. The event is free and open to the public from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the resort’s iconic Hollywood beachfront. It is sponsored by Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, 4ocean, and the City of Hollywood. Weltraum proceeds from the event will support 4ocean’s mission to remove plastic and trash from the oceans.
“The Mother Ocean Music Festspiel is the first of its kind in Hollywood Beach, and we are excited to offer a unique form of escapism for our guests,” Eduardo Fernandez says, Vier-Sterne-General Manager of Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. “We can’t wait to welcome guests and locals for a day of live music, fun, and no worries. Attendees will be able to learn more about protecting the beaches and marine life at Mother Ocean Village, which is located steps away from the Bandshell. They will demnach be able to engage with various local organizations supporting environmental practices and check out artificial reefs and ecological art. Guests can plan an ecotour on the Intracoastal waterway with the help of event partners such as The Water Taxi and Under the Sun Paddleboarding and Kayak Rental, who conveniently depart from the resort’s 5 o’Clock Somewhere Pub and Grill.
“Plastic pollution remains a challenge for municipalities nationwide. By limiting the use of disposable plastics like single-use bottles and plastic bags, the City of Hollywood is helping to reduce overall plastic pollution in South Florida,” Elaine Franklin says, Environmental Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Hollywood. “We are focused on cleaner land and sea for beachgoers and marine life like the majestic sea turtles that nest on Hollywood Beach each year. The City is excited to join with Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort and 4ocean to celebrate Earth Day at the Mother Ocean Music Festspiel to help raise awareness of the benefits of choosing a sustainable lifestyle.”
The resort offers a range of marquee activities that visitors can enjoy. These include surfers’ exhibitions on the FlowRider surf simulator, refreshing specialty drinks that support Cocktails for a Cause, and menus with a tropical twist available at all the resort’s casual beachfront dining outlets.
DJ Mike Kruz from Easy 93.1 will host the family-fun event featuring live bands throughout the day, including:

- Jeffrey James Harris
At the Mother Ocean Music Festspiel, attendees can participate in 4ocean’s clean ocean movement and aid in eliminating plastic pollution by buying eco-friendly merchandise. The merchandise includes reusable water bottles, bracelets, and anklets made from recycled ocean plastic. Each dollar spent on these items during the event removes one pound of trash from the world’s oceans, rivers, and coastlines.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles and containers, as the beach is plastic-free. Free drinking water will be provided to help with hydration.
