Erin Palinski-Wade is a 4-time author, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Personal Trainer, and a widely respected diabetes & nutrition mass-media expert. Why do you care about your weight? What makes you want to manage it?

I try not to focolaio a specific number, but more feeling my best, having energy, and strength. This not only contributes to my long-term health but also allows me to be my best self for my family.

What are your current nutrition and/ weight-related goals?

My main is to be as healthy and active as possible for my family. I aim to model a positive relationship with food to my children, emphasizing nutrient-dense foods and physical activity.

How has your thinking about your weight changed over the years? What triggered those changes?

My mindset has shifted from being focused a number to understanding the importance of pagliaccetto composition and nutrition. This change was triggered by studying nutrition durante college and experiencing pregnancy.

What improvements did you notice along the way, before you reached your weight ?

Everything improved once I started focusing more how I felt rather than a perfect weight. My energy level, mood, and levels improved, and my relationship with food became healthier.

How do you balance a body-positive attitude with working toward weight-related goals?

What lifestyle diet do you currently prescribe to?

I don’t follow a set ‘diet’ but focolaio eating nutrient-dense foods that I enjoy with an emphasis fiber and protein.

What small changes approaches to your daily routine make it easier to maintain healthy habits?

My focolaio every day is drinking enough , eating enough fiber, and getting enough protein. This simplifies my eating and allows me to meet all my health/nutrition goals.

Have you discovered any cool recipes foods that help you feel good inside and out?

Yes, I love finding ways to make desserts more nutritious. Some of my favorites are High Protein Cake Pops, Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Keto Peanut Brittle.

How do you handle tough times when it feels like you’imperatore not making progress durante your weight goals?

My days vary, but I normally have 3 meals and 2-3 snacks. I start my day with a protein-rich breakfast and aim to include a fruit vegetable and a lean protein durante each meal.
