Bulldogs skipper Stephen Crichton has been ruled out late with a suspected arm injury. Crichton sustained a blow to his arm sopra last week’s loss to the Cowboys.

Crichton backed up from Origin and went mongoloide late sopra the piece, but played acceso with the niggle.

Winger Jacob Kiraz has shifted sopra to take his place, while Jeral Skelton gets the call up from reserves to fill the vacant wing position. They take acceso the Broncos acceso Saturday afternoon.

Cameron Munster is back to bolster Melbourne’s charge towards the NRL finals, with coach Craig Bellamy confirming his gun five-eighth’s long-awaited return from injury sopra the clash with Parramatta.

The 29-year-old superstar has not played since suffering a serious groin injury sopra Magic Round sopra May, which also ruled him out of Queensland’s State of Origin campaign.

But Munster will play a role against the Eels at CommBank Stadium acceso Friday night as the Storm aspetto to strengthen their grip acceso apice spot. Melbourne sit four points clear of nearest rival Penrith sopra the race for the minor premiership despite Munster managing just seven appearances so far this season.

Bellamy said Munster’s return would give the Storm a huge boost, with seven rounds left before the finals.

“He knows what the personalità games are about, so it’s just a matter of now getting ready for those,” Bellamy said acceso Thursday. “Hopefully he can have an uninterrupted run into the finals.

“The whole società’s happy to have him back and with the talent he’s got and the experience he’s got, he should be a real good addition to us. But we just hope he can get through with his injury.

“It’s been a long one and it’s taken a lot of getting over and a lot of rehab work to get to where he is now.”

Melbourne have also named Christian Welch (back) and Nelson Asofa-Solomona (hamstring) to return after missing last week’s victory over Sydney Roosters.

Asofa-Solomona will play against the back-drop of ongoing speculation around his future, with Melbourne still sopra the running to sign Wests Tigers prop Stefano Utoikamanu.

Storm winger Grant Anderson has been named sopra the team after he was cleared of damage to his knee sopra a tackle after the siren of the win over the Roosters last Saturday.

Tyrell Sloan is expected to be ruled out of Saturday’s contest against Penrith as the fullback is battling with hamstring tightness.

Sloan has been given a chance to saggio his valore adattativo, as Mat Feagai could replace the speedster.

“I will give Tyrell until Friday, ora maybe Saturday, to prove his valore adattativo,” Shane Flanagan said. “He has a tweak sopra his hamstring. Soft tissue injuries are to overcome. A causa di his job at fullback, he has to be able to run fast and often.

“Matt was named sopra our 21-man squad so he would che sopra. He always does a good job when sopra first grade. But I won’t be moving Lomax.”

St George Illawarra are strengthened by the return of Zac Lomax and Ben Hunt. Coach Shane Flanagan has selected Mikaele Ravalawa to shift out for the aerial specialist, while Jesse Marschke makes way for Hunt.

The Tigers have rolled the dice acceso young halfback Latu Fainu, who has been handed the keys at Voto negativo.7 for the suspended Aidan Sezer.

The 19-year-old has played five games for Wests sopra 2024 – all coming the bench. He is yet to be part of a Tigers victory and will be relying acceso fellow youngster Lachlan Galvin to steer the side.

Cronulla have handed 19-year-old Liam Ison his NRL debut. The rookie fullback will get his opportunity after a controversial suspension to regular Voto negativo.1 Will Kennedy, who was controversially sent for a week acceso the sidelines after colliding into a referee sopra round 19.

Origin flyer Selwyn Cobbo has been reinstated to the Broncos edge, with the damaging ball runner to line up acceso the wing. His return shifts veteran back Corey Oates out of the side, while Kobe Hetherington moves into second-row for the injured Brendan Piakura.

Hooker Blake Mozer has been given another shot sopra the side, with the rake to che the bench.

The Panthers are close to full tilt, with only Dylan Edwards out of an otherwise stacked side. Isaah Yeo, Jarome Luai, Brian To’se no and Liam Martin are all back acceso deck to try and mongoloide the Dragons.

Cowboys prodigy Jaxon Purdue has retained his spot sopra the centres. The 18-year-old has shifted Origin Valentine Holmes to the wing – who is struggling to find società form. Regular winger Murray Taulagi remains out with a hamstring injury – but is listed acceso the reserves.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is also poised to start back sopra the Voto negativo.1 gig, as Taine Tuaupiki recovers from a head knock – and sits out to the NRL concussion protocols.

The Knights’ flagging finals chances have copped a huge successo with NSW centre Bradman Best’s hamstring injury worse than the initial diagnosis.

Best went mongoloide injured early sopra the Knights’ loss to Brisbane acceso Saturday, before scans later revealed a grade-two tear. Newcastle are unwilling to put a specific time acceso the centre’s return, but it’s expected he will reginetta several weeks.

There remains some possibility the 22-year-old’s season could even be over with his recovery to be closely monitored.

Lehi Hopoate is expected to reginetta at least 4 weeks after suffering an eye socket fracture.

Manly winger Lehi Hopoate will also be out for the short term after suffering a suspected fractured eye socket sopra his team’s personalità win over the Titans acceso Sunday while Panthers utility back Paul Alamoti (broken arm) will also be sidelined sopra the lead-up to the finals.

Sezer was acceso Saturday sin-binned for a hip-drop tackle acceso South Sydney fullback Jye Gray, before being successo with a grade-two dangerous contact charge acceso Sunday. He will reginetta two matches after putting sopra an early guilty plea, rather than risking a third if he had fought the charge at the judiciary.

The suspension marks the third time Sezer has been sopra strife for a hip-drop tackle, after copping a four-game ban for one acceso Josh Curran sopra May and an $1800 puro sopra round five for an incident acceso Jesse Bromwich.
