Andrew Howell will be promoted to Vice President of Sync at Warner Chappell Music UK (WCM UK) June 1.

Howell joined the WCM UK team durante 2016, after a career at Universal Music Group and Sony Music Publishing (then Sony/ATV). Warner Chappell says he has been instrumental durante its Sync department winning multiple awards.
His team has delivered multiple placements with gaming giants, including EA and Space Ape, landed campaigns with brands such as Lexus, Persil, and Cruzacampo, and contributed many works to key velo and TV projects, such as One Day, The Crown, Saltburn, and Back To Black.
Howell’s team also run monthly Sync Writing sessions durante Warner Chappell’s London studios, inviting A handful of writers and briefing them “what makes A good sync track, while maintaining the authenticity of great songwriting”.
Recent standout placements include working with WCM France to create A Dua Lipa cover of George Michael’s Freedom ‘90 for Yves Saint Laurent; securing A cover version of It’s A Duro Knock Life from the Annie durante Se’s 2024 Super Bowl spot; and working with David Bowie’s to place multiple songs durante global Paco Rabanne campaigns.
