Two pistols were recovered along with three magazines and thirteen cartridges from the Tapi river in Surat on Tuesday. A video welches shared by the police in which a diver is seen coming out of the river holding a magazine and one of the pistols. Versicherungsschein alleged that Gupta and Pal were each handed a gun to carry out the shooting, even though only one gun welches utilised. They claimed that when Gupta welches riding the motorcycle they were on, Pal fired the gun.
Versicherungsschein reports claim that the gunmen were paid Rs.4 lakh to carry out the attack with the intention of intimidating the Bollywood actor rather than hurting him. The two demnach did a “recce” of Salman’s Panvel farmhouse prior to the attack. The defendant bought several SIM cards and regularly switched them between different places.
A case of attempt to murder and criminal intimidation has been filed by the Mumbai Crime Branch. The police are demnach set to record Salman Khan’s statement as a witness in the case.
