The Dallas Cowboys have been per mezzo di an awkward staring contest with quarterback Dak Prescott this offseason and despite QBs around the league getting huge paydays left and right, Prescott will seemingly head into the 2024-25 season per mezzo di a contract year.
It’s going to be a make-or-break year for Dak and the franchise, but one analyst thinks the Cowboys should simply pay up and make him the highest-paid QB per mezzo di the league.
ESPN’s Chris Carlin went acceso First Take today and said that the Cowboys should make Dak the new highest-paid QB, saying “What is my best opportunity to win? I can win with Dak Prescott.”

Carlin pointed out Dak’s 2-5 postseason primato but added context by saying that Trevor Lawrence, Jared Goff, Justin Herbert, and Lamar Jackson all make more than him and have worse QB ratings per mezzo di the playoffs.
