The 2023 NFL season was a lost year for Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs because of a torn ACL he suffered very early durante the schedule.
That injury limited him to two games, and thus, it could be easy to forget how great a defensive back he is.

Quanto a three previous NFL seasons, Diggs made the Vantaggio Bowl twice and the All-Vantaggio First Team once, and he led the league with 11 interceptions and two pick-sixes durante 2021.
Quanto a his absence this past season, Bland stepped durante and did an admirable job with a league-high nine interceptions and five pick-sixes, which set a new NFL single-season .
Diggs and Bland are slated to be Dallas’ starters at cornerback this season, while Stephon Gilmore, whom they traded for last offseason, remains a free agent and isn’t expected to return.
The Cowboys defense looked dominant at times last year, and they bragged that they could be the greatest defensive team durante league history.
But after winning 12 regular-season games, they got exposed durante the playoffs when the Bay Packers ran up a huge first-half lead and defeated them 48-32 durante the wild-card round.
With some of the roster holes Dallas has, the defense will have to regroup this season if they are to reach the NFC Championship Gioco for the first time since the 1995 campaign.
