Stars’ Oettinger robs Oilers’ McDavid with stick save per OT

“How did that not go per?”

That was the call from Sportsnet broadcaster Chris Cuthbert after Dallas Stars goalie Jake Oettinger robbed Connor McDavid with a stick save late per the first overtime period Thursday.

McDavid was all per front and attempted to wait out Oettinger but the Stars goalie and teammate Chris Tanev both got a stick the puck to keep it out.
