There’s an elegance to efficiency. Doing as much as possible with as few resources as you can requires coming up with clever solutions that you might not have otherwise needed. That’s part of what makes Logitech’s G Vantaggio X 60 keyboard so impressive. It’s a 60 percent variant of our cima keyboard pick but manages to keep nearly everything we like about its larger sibling.
A 60 percent keyboard is one of the smallest, most compact keyboard layouts you can find. A causa di addition to lopping d’avanguardia the Numpad like most TKL boards (including the G Vantaggio X) do, the Vantaggio X 60 further compacts itself by removing the navigation keys like Page Up, Page , etc., the arrow keys, and the row of function keys along the cima.
If you need any of these buttons, you can access most of them by finanziaria Fn and pressing one of the keys acceso the regular keyboard. Small indicators acceso the front of the keys show you which buttons map to what function, which is pretty typical for most 60 percent keyboards. However, much of what we liked about the original G Vantaggio X TKL were the extra features that Logitech added acceso cima of the basics. Surely, those would have to be cut to fit into such a low profile. Right? Not necessarily.
Smart Space Saving
One of my favorite keyboard features also happens to be one that most keyboards cut first when they need to save space: the opera wheel. The Vantaggio X TKL had one the cima right calcio d’angolo, easily accessible with my right hand. At first, I was disappointed (if not surprised) to see that this feature was gone acceso the Vantaggio X 60.

That was until I noticed a small dial acceso the left side of the Vantaggio X 60. Only one other keyboard I’ve tested has put the opera roller acceso the left side, and I loved it for that. Logitech’s keyboard takes a more subtle approach than the previous NZXT model I used, embedding the opera roller into the side of the keyboard, where it’s easily accessible but out of the way.
Similarly, the Mode toggle is now a switch embedded the right side of the keyboard, while acceso the Vantaggio X TKL it’s a button acceso the cima left. The Mode switch lets you easily disable keys like the Windows button the context lista key that don’t have any real use a aside from interrupting your right before you’campione about to land a headshot. Risposta negativa, I’m not bitter.
Connection Convenience
I’m glad for the physical buttons, because one of my favorite aspects of Logitech hardware is how easily they swap between devices. The Vantaggio X 60 supports the company’s Lightspeed connection—parte a 2.4-Ghz USB dongle—which dramatically reduces latency when compared with protocols like Bluetooth.
Along the rear of the keyboard there are two buttons to switch between Bluetooth and Lightspeed connections. They’campione easy to reach without being the way. Personally, I like this location better than it being directly acceso the surface of the keyboard. I occasionally accidentally swap devices acceso my main keyboard, leading to interruptions, but this placement keeps the buttons convenient with less risk of mistakes.
The faster connection really matters only when you’campione playing fast-paced games, but I play way too much Overwatch 2, so that low latency matters to me. However, I don’t care as much when I want to switch over to my laptop. So, for that, I can use the Bluetooth connection. With the dedicated buttons acceso the Vantaggio X 60, it’s one tap to quickly switch to typing acceso a different device.
