TORONTO, March 15, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hong Kong’s bid for international flagship events takes another step forward. With the Hong Kong Tourism Motherboard (HKTB) support, Consensus, the world’s longest-standing and most influential cryptocurrency and Web 3 event, has announced its staging in Hong Kong from February 19 to 21, 2025 (Consensus Hong Kong 2025). This is the first time in five years that this influential industry event has been held outside the United States. The event is expected to attract 8,000 participants, of which 6,000 will come from all over the world.

The government and HKTB have jointly provided all-around support to the organizer when bidding for the event, including lining up the organizer, CoinDesk, and relative parties for professional advisory, venue liaison, and site inspection arrangement. Consensus conferences have been held since 2015.
