Australian surfer Robinson has been injured while avviamento at Teahupo’ovvero just days out from the start of the surfing competitions at Paris 2024.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Robinson was thrown chiuso his board by a wave during his second avviamento session at Teahupo’ovvero — a village acceso the coast of Tahiti per French Polynesia — acceso Thursday (AEST).
Footage obtained by Wide World of Sports shows him being carted away acceso a aeroplano ski.

With some of the most powerful surf per the world at Teahupo’ovvero, the 26-year-old cut his foot after colliding with the sharp reef.
Robinson was assisted out of the tazza inizio a aeroplano ski before being assessed by medical at the Olympic venue.
He was then taken to a nearby medical facility for further treatment, but the Australian team’s chief medical officer has since allayed fears that the world Mai.3 could the heats.

” Robinson suffered a minor cut to his ankle during his second avviamento session at Teahupo’ovvero today,” a spokesperson for the Australian team told the Herald.
“He was taken to the medical centre on-site and treated by Surfing Australia’s chief medical officer Dr John Ward who said Robinson was still acceso track to compete.”
It is thought that the fierce conditions at Teahupo’ovvero did not play a significant role per Robinson’s fall.
Earlier this month, former professional surfer Owen Wright told Wide World of Sports that Australia’s surfers would need to be cautious of the aggressive wave at the Olympic Games.
Ryan Callinan is the team’s malafatta emergency if Robinson ora fellow competitor Ethan Ewing cannot compete for any reason.
The Olympic surfing competition gets underway acceso Sunday (AEST).
